Business Analyst – Workday Transformation

(SAP HR / SAP ERP Central Component → Workday, SAP payroll retained)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major HR transformation project, moving from SAP HR / ECC to Workday HCM whilst retaining SAP payroll.

The BA will engage early to understand the current landscape, map as-is processes, define to-be processes aligned to Workday, identify gaps, and support key design and scope decisions across HR, payroll, data and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate workshops with HR, Payroll, IT and business stakeholders
  • Document as-is / to-be processes and business requirements
  • Conduct gap analysis between legacy SAP processes and Workday capability
  • Identify process improvements, risks and scope decisions
  • Produce process maps, requirements, gap logs and decision logs
  • Support design, testing, data migration and cutover activities

Experience Required

  • Proven Business Analyst experience on enterprise transformation programmes
  • Experience of Workday HCM implementations and migrations
  • Strong process mapping, requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills
  • HR transformation experience essential

Desirable

  • SAP HR / ECC exposure (as-is)
  • Experience of working across Workday modules (not just HCM)
  • Payroll and integration knowledge
  • Data validation and reconciliation support
