Location: London (3 days per week in the office)
We are seeking a highly capable and proactive Business Analyst to join a high-performing change team within a leading professional services organization. This role will play a key part in supporting a major international merger, contributing to a wide range of business and technology transformation initiatives.
Working across a diverse portfolio of projects, you will take ownership of analysis activities from early discovery through to implementation and post-go-live support. With an initial focus on integration (systems, processes, and people), this role offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-impact change within a fast-paced environment.
You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, Project Managers, and wider change teams, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end business analysis across the full project lifecycle, from discovery through to implementation and post-go-live support
- Lead requirements gathering activities, including workshops, interviews, and documentation
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand, challenge, and define business needs
- Support integration activities across systems, processes, and organisational structures following the merger
- Collaborate with Project Managers and change teams to ensure successful delivery of initiatives
- Produce high-quality documentation, including business requirements, process maps, and functional specifications
- Identify opportunities for business process improvements alongside technology solutions
- Support testing activities, including UAT coordination and defect management
- Assist with change impact assessments and implementation planning
- Operate effectively across multiple concurrent projects within a structured (waterfall/iterative) delivery environment
About You
We are looking for a confident and adaptable Business Analyst who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of analysis deliverables across a range of projects.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering across the full project lifecycle
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders
- Experience working on both IT implementation and business process improvement initiatives
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
- Experience working in structured delivery environments (waterfall or iterative)
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and delivery
Desirable
- Experience within professional services environments
- Exposure to mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale transformation programmes
