Reporting Lead – finance transformation

A global media company is hiring for a Reporting Lead as part of a wider finance transformation including a SAP S/4 HANA implementation.

-Circa £100k + 15% bonus

-2 year FTC

-London or Peterborough 2-3 days per week

The Reporting Lead will be establishing and leading the programme’s reporting transformation agenda. This role will be the programme’s hub for designing, building and deploying the reporting capabilities within the Finance project.

Key Experience:

Experience of successfully building and running reporting streams in complex transformation programmes
5-10 years of reporting experience including defining strategies
Bridging the gap between finance/SAP and technology teams
Experience with AP, MI, Reporting, Dashboards, R2R, data etc
Experience in SAP S/4 HANA, Ariba, Fieldglass

You will be responsible for:

Defining the reporting strategy for the business teams impacted by the Finance Transformation
Identifying which reports are needed by which teams at what times
Ensuring all current reports are documented, with clear owners, data flows and end users
Mapping existing reporting through to ‘to be’ future state reporting, including identifying which future state system the reporting will be run from (e.g. SAC, S/4 auto-dashboards etc) to ensure all reporting requirements are carefully planned for
Work with the BI and data teams to ensure alignment between data and reporting
Understand data flows between upstream systems and end reports, ensuring reporting is factored in to the end to end process design
Providing the necessary advice, education, and coaching to the business and other stakeholders regarding the proper implementation of reporting capabilities.
Work closely with the change team to ensure business impacts relating to reporting changes are documented and remediations captured
