A project manager is required on a contract basis for a global entertainment business in London.
This a role for a junior-mid level project manager with a background in marketing and business change.
This business is undergoing an exciting period of change focussed on three core areas:
-Marketing process improvements
-A new project management / workflow system
-A new digital asset management system
The role is for a project manager to support a senior project manager to plan, manage, and deliver the new processes and systems. The project manager will directly manage the training elements of each project in addition to providing marketing PMO support. The role is demanding, with a lot of moving parts, so somebody who is well organised, calm under pressure, and has extensive experience managing a diverse range of stakeholders is key. The desire to learn and develop is also very important to this role.
Please note this role will be divided as 50% project management support and 50% direct project management.
-Microsoft project (time and resource management). Excel. Visio (or equivalent).
-Direct support of global and local stakeholders
-Planning and delivering training workshops
-Updating monthly communication collateral
-Reporting in project management status meetings
-A quick learner
-Becoming admin level support for the new systems
-Creating training collateral as and when required
-Eventually running training sessions directly
-Knowledge of leading project and change management practices
-How to adapt process for teams
-How to manage and support change
Nice to have:
-Ideally in creative or marketing environment
-Ideally process mapping and analysis experience
