Programme Manager

A Programme Manager is required on a permanent basis for a leading financial services business in the East Midlands.

As they embark on the next stage of their business transformation to ensure they are truly a customer-centric business, they are seeking an experienced Business Programme Manager to lead one of the work streams within the Contact Centre Transformation Programme.

The role will be accountable for the successful design and delivery of several, critical workstreams as part of the wider business transformation. 

Other duties:

  • Design and continuously develop and maintain a detailed programme of activity for your particular work stream as part of the overall transformation programme
  • Create Roadmaps to forecast longer term elements of the work streams and support delivery
  • Work with business leads to define resourcing requirements and implement programme governance and control frameworks
  • Matrix manage a team of project managers, change leads, business analysts and subject matter experts to ensure the co-ordinated delivery of business outcomes across your work stream
  • Apply governance best practice to ensure the effective control and management of your work stream
  • Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects within the programme and those within “change”
  • Create the right environment to land change by working closely with other business areas and senior level stakeholders to ensure effective communication – “own” your relationship with senior business stakeholders and other business partners. Be a team player and able to work collaboratively with other business areas

Key Experience:

  • Experience of managing large and complex programmes of work within a rapidly changing and fast paced environment
  • Significant business change experience
  • Experience and the technical mindset to tackle either performance management (MI and Data Analysis) programmes
  • The ability and confidence to effectively influence senior level stakeholders and build effective relationships
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal

Desirable: contact centre experience

Salary is up to £80k plus and excellent benefits and bonus package.
