IT PMO

An IT PMO/Project Support is required for a leading media organisation based in Central London.

The IT PMO/Support will take a lead role in establishing conventions and assuring standards by which the IT Office will record and report on progress, actions, decisions and key performance indicators (KPIs) in a consistent and transparent manner.

Key Deliverables and Objectives of the role:
– establish frameworks and processes to enable facilitation of key global IT forums, including:
– booking meetings and preparation of meeting materials;
– maintaining accurate minute, action and decision logs;
– Actively support and help drive the successful delivery of global IT initiatives, by implementing and managing:
– progress reporting;
– milestone tracking;
– risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring items are tracked and managed to a conclusion;
– support global IT leadership in strategic decision-making through:
– ensuring that local information is shared consistently and transparently;
– helping to identify opportunities for successful re-use and mistakes to avoid repeating;

Key Experience:
– A proven track record in providing project support to concurrent small/medium projects of varying complexity;
– Demonstrable understanding of the full IT project life cycle
– proven ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of the business;
– Highly motivated with a tenacious attitude and willing to have tough conversations with people to get things done
– Must demonstrate excellent communication (oral and written) skills;
– Must demonstrate good planning and organising skills;
– Must be able to work independently and manage personal workload;

Desirable qualifications:
– Educated to degree level
– Prince 2 Foundation or above (desirable)
– Experience in media/entertainment/manufacturing would be an advantage;

This is a 12 month fixed-term salaried contract, circa £45k + benefits.
