Fibre Senior Surveyor

A Fibre Surveyor is required for a leading major Alt-Nets fibre provider.

£40,000 / 45,000+ benefits
This role is field based and covers the Northwest, West Yorkshire and West Midlands

We are looking for an experienced Surveyor with extensive experience on the Openreach network. .

You will need to have a Full (UK) driving license and be able to travel across your region regularly.

Responsibilities

• Interpret planning packs that have been created by the Design Team
• Cross check information on Openreach portal
• Attend site and identify planned routes
• Identify and record hazards
• Recommend re-routes or alternative access methods when needed
• Meet with 3rd parties including Highways Agencies and Local Authorities if required to assist in the smooth delivery of projects
• Identify any additional civil engineering works that may be required to deliver designs
• Create and issue RAMS to relevant internal parties
• Measure and estimate work with use of designed BOM
• Work within Health & Safety and company policy

Requirements

● Extensive experience working on the Openreach network
● Competent in interpreting job packs
● Excellent knowledge of civil engineering
● Excellent knowledge of fibre optic cabling and splicing
● Proficient in the use of MS Office and Google Docs

● SA002 Safety Underground
● S5 PIA Pole Surveying
● S6 PIA Duct Surveying
● S11 FTTP for Surveyors
● Unit 2 Street Works
