Business Process Analyst

My client is undertaking an unprecedented transformation across their organisation and our Business Process Analysts play a fundamental role in this exciting programme.
As a key member of the programme, the Business Process Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation together with Product Managers, Change Managers and Project Managers to support this transformation programme and ultimately support my client in delivering critical frontline services.
The role of the Business Process Analyst is to review and analyse the organisation’s process artifacts to develop new processes to enable the future state ways of working .
You will act as one of the key conduits between the business units, organisational stakeholders and the Business Process Owners. The Business Process Analyst will liaise with key stakeholders in the organisation to develop a solid understanding of how the business is currently operating and build additional supporting processes that cover off-system processes and future state processes as we undergo transformation and beyond. They will review, analyse, and build a strong knowledge of the business process architecture and aid the business in maturing its processes as we build new ways of working.
Responsibilities
Ability to map processes and turn around dynamically (often in a live environment) using Microsoft visio as the key platform to a level 4 detail.
Familiarity with business process architecture and process mapping tools such as visio, lucid and ARIS.
Strong facilitation skills in workshops and ability to coordinate and challenge multiple stakeholders inputs to define and agree required future state outcome.
Participate in the development and implementation of new business systems and processes.
Capture process improvement recommendations such as bottlenecks, redundancies, and other inefficiencies in processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness to build onto future backlog of improvements to improve process quality.
Develop and maintain process documentation to level 4, including creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Liaison with change teams to identify and ensure critical processes are mapped to enable smooth transition/embedding of new systems.
Capture business benefits to result from process changes and how they will be measured.
Support the development of the Playbook – the future state business process architecture of the business ensuring process and SOPs are communicated and managed in line with go-live dates and Business process owner feedback.
About The Candidate
Please detail skills and experience you are looking for:
3+ years of experience in business process analysis and mapping
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience with process mapping and modeling tools, such as Visio, Lucidchart, or ARIS including spreadsheets and presentations.
Awareness of business process management and process maturity
